Soft drink manufacturer Coca-Cola North America Co. recently purchased a 65-acre parcel in CAN DO’s Humboldt Industrial Park for the site of a future non-carbonated beverage plant, according to information from Ray Crockett, spokesman for Coca-Cola North America.
Crockett confirmed that the international beverage giant purchased the land in Humboldt, but could not disclose when ground will be broken for the plant.
He said the company’s manufacturing strategy calls for plant expansions to meet future volume in the north central region. “It was determined that the Hazleton land purchases would be of value to prepare for future expansion requirements.”
